Re: Disappointed Zino Picture Quality
Saw this video. Clearly zino video has soft focus, osmo pocket had good focus. However, I can see jello effect on osmo pocket.

I don't think the Zino camera even has any focusing capabilities, it's just set to infinity focus as most action cameras are. Also it would look as if the "still" mode of the camera merely captures a video frame, the resolution is exactly the same and there's no EXIF data in the file at all. Thus, fiddling with compression settings would bring very little additional benefit.
The worst problem seems to be the white balance, it's really visibly changing when the scene is changing, it's like a flick of a switch. Also there is some relatively aggressive noise reduction going on, in darker scenes there are some visible artifacts stemming from this (streaks, motion blur).

Please see attached file, such streaks are easily visible when panning for instance. This is from a tree branch. When ascending from behind some trees, the whole forest leaves a noticeable blur against the sky.

Like all drones, even DJI, automatic modes are not the best. It is necessary to make manual adjustments ... White balance to manually adjust following cloud or sun, ISO at 200 fixed if sun and at 400 if clouds. The videos are then correct and the pink or blue images of the quick change of exposure no longer exist. You must also have a card SD ev V30 A2 minimum! . For photos, it's something else. The compression seems too strong, Hubsan will perhaps reduce it. My photo sizes range from 650 KB to 1.8 MB.
