Yeah and a Spark records FHD at 24mbps. If this can do 4k why can't it even match the bitrate at FHD of a drone that can't do 4k? Mind boggling.

Hello Magnum1956PMQ ,

Would you mind to try to find the Zino picture as attached way?

Find the "picture "then choose the "big" file.Hope will help you
Hubsan-Ailsa,
You annoy me a little ... you take me for a beginner ??
A long time ago that I saw "big" "small" and "video" !!
The photos are always in "big", there is NEVER in "small" until today.
The videos are in the "video" folder, whether it's AA in 3840x2160 or AB in 768x432.
And besides, in the videos, you could have created 2 sub folders, a "big" and a "small", that would have been useful.
The JPEG is TOO compressed, that's all, it must be released a little to have better photos.

It has nothing to do with the gimbal. Every video I have seen is soft. I have yet to see a video that is in focus or not heavily compressed. Where are the 60mbps that is stated repeatedly? All the videos are taken at 44mbps, that is a 25% difference!!
And the MP of the sensor, it was asked repeatedly in the Indiegogo campaign for the sensor resolution and Hubsan never gave a straight answer. Just said it is a Sony sensor. And let everyone speculate.
The heavy compression, be it still image or video, of the Zino is really quite odd and unnecessary, considering SD cards have been getting cheaper and cheaper over time (or, if you put it the other way, you are getting more and more capacity for the same money).

In the thread "Pink Screen in App and Video" a user posted a Dropbox link to what apparently is an unmodified video file from the Zino recorded in 1920x1080. Video codec is MPEG-4 AVC (H.264). The bitrate of the video stream is about 12 MBit/s.
In comparison, video recorded by my good old H501S (not the S-S) is also 1920x1080 MPEG-4 AVC (H.264), but the bitrate of the video stream is about 17 MBit/s !
Video was not messed with in any way.

HUBSAN-Ailsa,

New flight today, with firmware updated this morning V1.0.44

Once again, I want to prove the storage of photos and video in the MicroSD card.
The photos are in "BIG" and are low definition!
And there is nothing in "small" as usual ...
Thank you Ailsa for seeing this problem of quality photos.

Ailsa, any updates on this topic? Will this issue be solved with next update? Any chance that RAW support will be added?

After I have installed the latest firmware I flight again with my Zino.

The picture and video quality is still bad, The images look washed out blurred and the drone has massive focus problems.

Is there a possibility of a refund?

Thank you for your answer.

I hope that the quality really improves and the improvements are also possible on the software side.

I give Hubsan another chance, hopefully I will not be disappointed.

It is another topic my suggestion but Ailsa, you could give more exponential to the yaw, it is very fast and sensitive. Thank you

In any case, I hope that Hubsan can solve the focus problem and the whole blur by software. If the hardware is too weak, you can not do anything on the software side.

Overall, the drone was released too early, it's all somehow still a prototype.
