Yes that is correct.
I'm going to start from the beginning again this weekend and reformat SD Card (never had problem with it though), reinstall the complete 1.0.46 and reevaluate it again to see if I can get it to work. I know all of the Zino hardware works well and so far 1.0.44 has been the most stable for my hardware (iPhone 7+) and Zino hardware and has been reliable for the most flights.

When you buy your first toy drone, many times without going away you lose signal and when you have time you think about the reason. The years pass and you learn something more about the hobby and one of them is to know how the transmmission of the antennas (Donut) works. The most common novice error is to fly over your head if you do not point the antennas at the communication and it is the same if you move horizontally if you plan to go more than 200 meters. If you do not aim well or place the antennas well perpendicular and parallel between them, you will almost always lose communication.
