I'll give it a go. I have been talking with Ailsa about this issue and the thinking right now is a faulty cable so they're looking into it.

My cable appeared to fit correctly in my Ipad and Iphone 6 also but it simply wasnt making connection on either.

I also ordered a Non Hubsan Cable from Amazon that just came in today but I have not tested.

Been waiting on a replacement cable from Hubsan since about December 16th and finally received a tracking number this morning.

Lets hope it is just the cable. That would at least be a solution.
BrettYoung please let us know if your new cable fixes your problem and I will when I get a new cable.

I never wait for the lights to go solid on zino or transmitter, I had trouble connecting before too. Since I tried my way connected every time. Turn zino and transmitter on ,open app and immediately plug in cable( usually is already plugged in transmitter)to phone. Haven't had the problem since. Good luck

I managed to get to the bottom of my problem and like I said will let you know the outcome...

After sending videos and speaking to loads of people the Hubsan engineers decided I have a faulty transmitter and they’re sending me a new one. The rc and drone pairing should occur like in their video. If you try loads of different weird little tricks to get it to pair then it aint right. What if you ever wish to sell it? Your buyer won’t want to mess about like that. Just a thought

Thats what I'm thinking must be the problem too and the fact that you have now got that result will serve as an example so thank you. However I have to work with Husbsan and Ailsa and follow their lead at this stage. Its a process like most things, so if the new lead doesn't work then obviously I'll bring up your example.

It’s like the Zino is not spitting out WiFi. I see other local WiFi in my house so that tells me that the TX is capable of seeing the Zino. HELP! This things not even a week old.
