So today i tried again, in the sam are i flew the Zino in the first time.
Again i got repeatedly disconnected. at one point i could not even get 10 seconds of flight before losing connection.
I tried recalibration of the gps, re syncing the wifi, everything. All batteries were fully charged.
Whatever this issue is need to be corrected as its making it impossible to fly the Zino.

can you try when your phone's wifi disabled. I m thinking possibility of phone's wifi search may interrupt drone-transmitter connection.

It is extremely frustrating. What’s the point if you can’t fly around your own home with interference issues. This should have been a key test during design. I am regretting this purchase. I will be taking it out to a huge clearing tomorrow away from any type of electrical or any possible interference and see how it does. I’ll try the do not disturb as well as turning off the phones WiFi.

I agree with you. What is the point if we cannot even fly in residential parks. People fly drone in parks. But if the drone will get connected even at low height it will be risky to fly.

Alisa i have emailed you video also. Thanks

Took the Zino up to the school they have a huge clearing on top of the hill with no possible interference. I took my wedding ring off, put the iPhone se into do not disturb, turned WiFi off and Bluetooth. The Zino flew great even tried the self take off and landing, waypoints and circling a location. However, it is now giving me an error that the ‘aircraft tilt angle is too large, Gimbal protection”. I tried Horizontal calibration as well as the gimbal gyro calibration with nothing. I cleared all parameters and started fresh, still nothing. I can’t believe it. Gimbal error 0x0004

If pulling the battery and then going through the calibration did not work. (soft reset)
You will have to do the button thing behind the gimbal (hard reset)

Turned of Wifi?
I thought that was required for flight and connection?

Only if you fly phone alone. If you use the controller to boost wifi it goes like this.

Zino (WiFi AP) ---wifi----> Controller (WiFi Bridge) ----OTG Cable----> Phone (App)

So if you have WiFi on on the Phone it can interfere with the controller

You can also fly without the controller or boost, directly to the phone but with limited range.

Zino (WiFi AP) ---wifi----> Phone (App)

SO IF YOU USE THE WHITE BRICK CONTROLLER AND OTG TURN THE PHONE'S WIFI OFF)

I suspect this is part of the connection issues I've been having. I'll go for a flight tomorrow with WiFi off, and report back. Thank you @peterkng!
