Re: Android phone connected, no video feed?
I'd like to know because I am having intermittent FPV issues. When I turn on everything, sometimes I will get FPV sometimes not. I have to restart the drone and the controller multiple times until I get FPV. This all started happening after the V0.3.3 camera update.

I haven't been able to do any more testing since my transmitter stopped working, I'm presently waiting for a replacement.

I just can't understand why the Zino flies like a bag of worms and with everyones comments one would ask....Why Does the 501s fly so well??? Are the components that much different?

501s ....camera is very nice. Twice as clear as the Zino. 501s...super flyer...Zino.....not nice at all..and still crappy video
Re: Android phone connected, no video feed?
try starting your app last... before you plug the controller in... that works for me... I do drone, controller, app, and then I plug my phone to the controller after everything else has powered up.
works for me
works for me

Re: Android phone connected, no video feed?
I had the exact same issues yesterday - 2 batteries..could not connect on both occasions. Only way it worked was when I turned off the phone data which I need to get the GPS accuracy passed then the FPV would magically appear. So it seems that the data radio is interfering with the FPV...FFS!gremaso wrote: โTue Jan 22, 2019 4:58 amI'd like to know because I am having intermittent FPV issues. agree with everyone else... 501 is an excellent flier, even with gps off it's a power house for what it is... taken some time to get use to the zino... hopefully they'll get all the bugs worked out of it, it has great potential.... always said if the 501 had a gimbal...
I get it out about once a week just to raise a little hell.... lol

The 501 camera is, at best, mediocre.ge_504b6aPsfA wrote: โTue Jan 22, 2019 8:55 pm501s ....camera is very nice. Twice as clear as the Zino. 501s...super flyer...Zino.....not nice at all..and still crappy video
The Zino camera (at 4K) is light years better. There really is no comparison.
The Zino flies very differently, but it actually flies very nicely once you get a feel for it.
Yes it is not like a 501 in manual mode (or even alt hold) but it will leave the 501 dead in the water in GPS mode and turn on a sixpence.
Going back to flying a 501 after a month of the Zino, in GPS mode you wonder if the 501 is on a fishing line tethered to a rock
It's so sedate it should have a slow vehicle sticker attached...
