Continuing problems with compass calibrations?
Toilet bowl effect above 20 meters
New firmware installed. Nothing seems to help
Compass Calibration & Toilet Bowl Effect
Re: Compass Calibration & Toilet Bowl Effect
Same here. I am going to wait until they release a new firmware update or I might reinstall the previous update.
Re: Compass Calibration & Toilet Bowl Effect
I've seen several people say they will or did go back to the original firmware. I really don't care about the video resolution selection cause I will probably use the 4K setting. I would like to go back to the original software. I don't think you can roll it back so you would need to have a copy of it. Where would you get it?
Re: Compass Calibration & Toilet Bowl Effect
I'm not sure how you would get the original, but at least I could fly with the previous version 1.0.43 and I still have that on my computer.
I am going to try to reinstall the latest version one more time before I go back.

Re: Compass Calibration & Toilet Bowl Effect
T.B is caused by a faulty compass calibration,it has nothing to do with firmware.
I've done all the updates, and have no problem at all.
My suggestion:
Get a real compass, sit it beside Zino, with compass pointing north. Open Zino app and look at the "yaw"on bottom right of screen. If it's more than a degree or 2 off, your quad needs calibrated.
Do an OUTSIDE calibration until the compass and Zino, when both are pointing north, read "yaw"and see what it reads.

Hello all,
Thank rDronenut good suggestion
Kindly note the value"H "and "'Yaw" is the same before take off.
Hope will help you solve this Toilet Bowl effect.
If still fail to work ,would you mind to provide the flight log screen recording for us?

Re: Compass Calibration & Toilet Bowl Effect
Thank you for this information, it took 8 times to get it close and I'm still off by 3 or 4 degrees and I can fly it but it still has periods that it acts like it lost and starts to TB but straightens up as soon as I give it input.MrDronenut wrote: ↑Thu Dec 20, 2018 1:46 pmT.B is caused by a faulty compass calibration,it has nothing to do with firmware.

What I don't understand is how my Visau xs812 GPS with a barometer that cost less than $100.00 is rock solid and doesn't wonder around and the Zino at it's price can't.
Hopefully Hubsan will get it corrected and turn this into a auwsom bird.
