It came home!!!!!

Post by SkillPig » Wed Dec 12, 2018 10:22 am

I just lost my Zino.

I live on top of a hill and I stupidly flew too high and got into strong airflow. I watched sadly as my long awaited Zino f£$ked off into the ocean. Eventually the screen disconnected. I slunk back into my house to kick my cat around and make a cup of tea. Two mins later I hear the faint buzz of my drone auto returning to home where it landed on my garden table.

Im still crying with joy.

There are two flaws I am having trouble with though.

1) Video is shaky in anything except the stillest of conditions.

2) Card read speed error is completely sporadic and unfathomable. I have to clear all the files off my card every time I reboot or it wont accept the card...

Im not sure how much, if anything, the gimbal update has done.

Nice!

What a cardiac moment after all the waiting and disappointment!!!

I'm not having the SD card problem at all...I probably have 6 or 7 videos and pictures all together on it and it still is acting well.
I haven't flown update yet so no info there for you.

Was your Zino recording video while it took the trip? Would be great to know how it eventually made it back home. :D

I had my 502S land and attempt takeoff a few times and then take off and fly back to me once when I lost signal.

Wow! RTH is really useful! I'm glad for you too. But now, it's your cat who wants to leave :D

Is there a setting for RTH height? I guess it has to be higher for RTH over a forest. I'm still learning from you guys, cos I'm a 60-yr-old noob at camera drones flying; having just received mine yesterday afternoon in Singapore
