Re: Zino compared to Mavic Pro
It is a great Drone indeed and the main reason why I still don’t have the dji zoom.
BUT, speed is extremely slow (8m/s in 2018 is a joke) and the range can not be compared.
Good for starters, limited for pros. I’m starter so probably I’ll get one next year. But I hope the speed will improve and at least double the actual one. 8 m/s is a very disappointing feature.

If you want a faster drone you should buy a racing drone, not a foldable drone with a gimbal, designed for shooting videos and photos...parseval43 wrote: ↑Sun Dec 02, 2018 1:15 pmBUT, speed is extremely slow (8m/s in 2018 is a joke) and the range can not be compared.

Speed is good enough for an aerial photography drone. it can increase up to 60 kmh on sport mode.parseval43 wrote: ↑Sun Dec 02, 2018 1:15 pmIt is a great Drone indeed and the main reason why I still don’t have the dji zoom.

I don't think they will have to sort their pricing. Has Apple reduced the price of their phones? They keep getting more expensive! And DJI is the Apple of the drone market. They make a high quality product. Even the other companies like Autel also sell at or near the DJI price point. And with the quality of their hardware and software it is acceptable. Do I need a smart battery that lights up to show how full the battery is? No. Do I need obstacle avoidance that may or may not work? No. And I definitely don't need to be able to fly 4 miles away. LOS is pretty much the rule where ever you go. The only thing that I really envy the Mavic crowds for is their cameras. It seems like the Zino will max out at 45-50 mbit/s. Not bad, but in comparison to 100 for the Mavics it shows where some of the high price tag came from. Not to mention the smoothness that the gimbal rotates with. It takes a lot of time to perfect things like that, and money. As we can already see, the Zino is still not fully completed. Hardware yes, software no. Is it worth the extra money, yes to people doing film production or perfectionist who won't settle for less than the best. Right now I don't see the Zino being used for production filming, the camera is in my opinion not up to it. But it can get good footage that is very stable for the average user. In my opinion.

60kmh would be awesome. But even in sport mode, all videos up to now are at max 8m/s. This is the half!! 30kmh!! There were rumors that it can achieve the 60kmh but it was never confirmed by Hubsan. Later improve by firmware upgrade? Only Hubsan knows...
Re: Zino compared to Mavic Pro
Reviewers say that there is no difference among standard and sport mode...so probably with a software update more speed can be achieved.parseval43 wrote: ↑Sun Dec 02, 2018 6:18 pmakifoktar wrote: ↑Sun Dec 02, 2018 4:52 pmSpeed is good enough for an aerial photography drone. it can increase up to 60 kmh on sport mode.parseval43 wrote: ↑Sun Dec 02, 2018 1:15 pmIt is a great Drone indeed and the main reason why I still don’t have the dji zoom.

This would be good. I think I'll create a new post and ask Hubsan.

Re: Zino compared to Mavic Pro
J'ai volé avec mon ZINO !
30 km/h MAX
