Gyro sensor calibration

My 501ss won't calibrate the gyro sensor
might be posted in the wrong section? Mods might move this thread.
There is a good youtube video, I looked for it, but cant find it right now.
Rotate it CW in Horiz position for calib 1
and CW nose down for calib 2
Mine is supposed to calibrate automatically, but it forces me to do it every time. I am working on finding out why.
