h109s problems

Post by kanuni3019 » Fri Jan 04, 2019 10:51 am

Hi! I have a h109s low edition since last May and I am delighted with it. However, on a recent flight the "paddle" aerial on the transmitter broke off and the drone lost its signal. The drone continued flying out of control until it crashed into a tree.
Since recovering the drone I have discovered a problem. The drone fires up in the usual way and everything seems to be normal except that only ONE motor spins. The other three motors appear to be dead as if no power was getting through. I have checked all the connections and plugs and everything seems ok ( to my untrained eye that is). Can anyone help please?

Could be a couple of things, motors or ESC's (Electronic Speed Controllers)
With the propellers removed, powered up the unit, calibrate, then start motors, try turning the un-started motors, if the motor starts chances are the motor is weak (replace). Touch the arms and feel if they are getting hot, if so failed ESC, again replacement require. Best case is because of the crash a wire may have broken away from the circuit boards from the main board or the ESCs or the motors.
