H501A & HT011Aunable to connect over wifi relay option

Hi,

After updating the X-Hubsan App to version 3.6.4 on my iPhone, I am unable to use the relay function to connect my iPhone over the HT011 transmitter (Wifi booster).
Using an other device, such as my iPad with version 3.6.3 does NOT give this problem (neither did the iPhone with version 3.6.3 previous to the upgrade).
When opening settings > Relay, I cannot click on the "Setup the relay connection to aircraft". It just doesn't react at all. In other words, I do NOT get the new window where it allows you to scan for available wifi connections (in this case to select the H501A drone).
Can you please rectify this issue?

I am having the same problem with my son's h216a. It actually flew great this morning through an iphone 5s and ht011a transmitter. After I plugged the phone in to charge, it updated automatically and now it won't work. WiFi light just blinks, controls get lost and cause it to crash. Still works through my samsung android phone so I can say it definitely appears to be the latest ios app software. Hope they get it fixed soon.

app 3.6.4, it worked normally on iOS 11 on iPhone 5s 7.

Funny you mention that. We have 3 iphones.

2 are old iphone 5s, both running ios 12.0.1. Xhubsan app worked fine using the app version of 3.6.3 but quit working the moment it was updated to 3.6.4.

My wifes everyday phone is an iphone 6s running 11.1.1 and the latest app (3.6.4) works fine with the older system.

I have not found any way to revert the iphone back to either version.

I’m having the exact same problem. I have the h501a and use the HT005 relay. I have an iPhone 8 with iOS 12. My phone automatically updated X-Hubsan to 3.6.4 and now I can’t bring up the “set relay connection to aircraft” menu. At first I couldn’t connect to the drone. I pulled out my iPad which thankfully still has 3.6.3 and it works fine. Interestingly, after I paired the drone to the relay through my iPad, it later paired to my phone through the relay. I’m not sure why. Last night I saw Hubsan pushed out an update to the app, 3.6.5, so I downloaded it and it’s still not working to bring up the connection. I do have two h501a’s and the second one still won’t connect through the relay, though I haven’t tried pairing the second drone through my iPad like I did with first drone.

I was excited to see the update, hopeful that it would fix the problem, but it did not work for me either. Now I am starting to have motor problems, probably due to all the crashes from loss of control. I notice on the ht011a transmitter that the wifi and 2.4ghz lights keep alternating. I used to get a solid wifi light with 3.6.3. My android phone still works for it but even that seems to be more delayed than before (solid wifi light on the android phone).

Version 3.6.6 seems to have fixed the problems. Everything is functioning well as it should. Thank you Hubsan.

The latest app version hasn’t worked on my iPhone XR.
I keep getting a “Not Connected “. But I can still fly and control the drone but do not have a live feed video. Very FRUSTRATING!! Thinking of returning the drone to Hubsan.
