Re: H501S vs. Bugs 2W

Thanks. Are there any inherent benefits of a 5.4 gHz FPV on-board display vs. using FPV via WiFi? Apparently Bugs only makes quad to be used with cell phones via WiFi. Some YouTube videos show loss of updated display on the phones anywhere from 100m to 600m so don't understand why users are finding ...

H501S vs. Bugs 2W

Hello:
To those that ended up getting the 501S, did you consider the Bugs 2W and why did you end up with the 501S? I looking at both these models. Is FPV WiFi a drawback? I do like the fact the 501S has a built in FPV screen but not the apparent problems with flyaways.

Re: Hubsan X4 H107C design question

Doesn't anyone from Hubsan have an answer here? I understand this is the FPV forum, but there really should be separate forums then for the non-FPV quadcopters, of which Hubsan makes plenty.

Hubsan X4 H107C design question

Hi all: I know the X4 H107C is not a FPV but unfortunately there is not a forum for this quad so maybe the administrator can create a new forum or someone might have some input. I purchased another X4 H107 to replace one that was damaged beyond repair. We have noted three strange and curious design ...

Re: H501S X4 flyaway

OK.. so with altitude hold, the barometric sensor holds a constant elevation in the z axis, but I can freely fly around with the sticks in the horizontal x,y axis unless I purposely change elevation with the left stick again to a new altitude? And, furthermore, the craft will drift in the last direc...

Re: H501S X4 flyaway

Thanks. I thought altitude hold was GPS mode. Doesn't altitude hold require GPS being on?

Re: H501S X4 flyaway

Sorry to hear this happened! As a person that is considering buying this very drone, this makes me nervous. And, the altitude hold was a selling point for me! Forum members. ..Did the pilot here do something wrong? Although not super expensive, I don't want to buy a drone that is going to do this fo...

Re: H501S - get 901A or 906A transmitter?

Thanks Bob Drev! Your message made me chuckle! It was funny and sad at the same time about Hubsan support. I guess one needs to maintain a sense of humor! Your message also made me think perhaps getting these units from reputable ebay vendors might be a good idea vs. direct from Hubsan. Perhaps they...

Re: H501S - get 901A or 906A transmitter?

Thanks magicmannst! Great info! I was worried that the sticks on the 901A look similar to the sticks on our H107C. I trust they are more sophisticated? Also, can I set the "rate" on the transmitter (like 60%) etc. vs. expert mode while we get used to it? What did you mean about "high edition"? Do yo...
