As was suggested, the combination of HT501A, HT011, and HS001, worked very well for me with very little FPV lag. Now to learn how to have faith in what I'm seeing plus lots of practice.

Thanks for the suggestion. I'll save my pennies. When weather calms down here, plan to try a couple ideas I found on the net...turn off all other apps including bluetooth, and put phone in airplane mode to see if that results in any improvement in lag time. I failed to make those adjustments before.

Basically, what I see on my android phone screen, using X-Hubsan app on WiFi, is where the copter was 20-30 seconds ago, which provides little useful information for flying; must be done "line-of-sight".
