Re: Confusing Models/Numbers....Phew

I know, I know, I am having a hard time keeping it straight too! If your RX version is V2.xx.xx it means you have a 501a motherboard. Thats the definition of an SS BUT .... early SS models had a compass card that does not support Auto Compass. I have seen the newer compass cards for like $22, been ...

H501S V2.1.50 (rx) FYI The 2 means its a SS
Now I am confused again. Haha

Earlier you indicated that you were getting the request to "calibrate compass".

Just curious, trying to keep it all straight.

Re: Confusing Models/Numbers....Phew

Hey CT, JarHead will be back soon, I'm sure. Did you buy your 501 New??? I remember reading somewhere that all 501 are SS for well over a year. Unless you got some older stock. Cant trust these vendors sometimes.UGhhhh But yes, if yours is asking for a compass cal it is a 501S. I found the MOD on li...

hubsan 501 ss battery connector

Can someone tell me the exact name for the connector? I have googled it and I see that there are several that look similar.
Are they EC2 or EC3?
Or are my old eyes wrong??

Thanks

Re: Struggling with a new H109S

Stupid question/observation. Several vendors and Hubsan have indicated that all NEW H501 are SS units and as such have "auto" compass calibrate. And have been that way for some time. So where are the old units coming from and why are people still getting them. Maybe need to "talk" to your vendor. Th...

Re: GPS data Recovery

Your option at the time was to take a photo of the last active tx scree and note the quads coordinates which would give you a last known position once put in Google maps plus its direction, speed and height. from that you may have been able to get an idea of its possible landing site. You would the...
