Download HOVER or a similar app, see if high winds correlate with your problems. Even the gimbal on my Phantom 4 Pro can get shaken, if the winds are high enough. All drones will have some problems if the winds are high or gusting quickly.
Try a different SD card, I've had success with a fat32 Samsung card, 32GB. Mine saves all the selected resolutions as it should, plus an extra super lo-res copy of each. Go figure...
I had connection issues, too. Mine were definitely related to the SD card. It was a 64GB Strontium, I dropped back to a 32Gb Samsung, the problems went away. Good luck.
