Re: Zino gone forever!
299 pounds. Yes what's the point. Might as well buy the whole damn thing for a little more. This droning hobby is expensive stuff. One crash and that's hundreds of dollars gone. At least I didn't crash a mavic. Then I would cry. Or get a Fimi A3 or put it towards a Fimi X8 SE or I might even turn i...

Re: Zino gone forever!
Must have been the Australia Day weekend for it  . While out testing FC 1.0.47 I was flying a bit too fast into a turn and clipped a tree, Zino fell about 2 metres to the ground. No apparent damage but on the next flight gimbal would not hold horizontal. No errors in app gimbal normal? Have tri...

Re: Drifting when drone turns
Maybe you're right, but it's still not nice to be swinging. after all, I pay money and I don't want to have an accident cause drifts. I'll use it carefully. Sorry drift should only be up and down a metre or so. If it is moving sideways a lot then that is a problem. Even though GPS accuracy is 1-3 m...

Re: Drone battery charge time?
Agree with fdvk
The Zino is built to a price point, one of the biggest areas they price cut in my pinion was the factory charger. First thing I replaced when I got the Zino. Already had an iMAX B6 but upgraded to a version 2 for the LiHv batteries.

Re: Dronie
What do you mean by "dronie flight" If you mean like dronie mode I found using a google search A dronie is a selfie that is made using a drone. The drone is positioned in front and slightly above yourself and then flown away, usually up and away at the same time. Then you already have that, Hubsan c...

Re: Drifting when drone turns
] The Zino is not a drone, that I would be flying in much wind. I have flown it in winds up to 10 mph without a problem, but it does get blown around a lot. Fly in open areas only. The other thing is, do not expect the Zino to fly like more expensive drones with optical flow, and obstacle avoidance...
Re: FC47
1.0.47 is now available on Hubsan Support page. I have not noticed any major difference between 46 and 47 though I did not have any of the issues such as Toilet Bowling that it is suppose to fix.

Re: Sun shade for the Zino controller
As I said it is for the phone has nothing to do with the controller. DJI or otherwise, the one I use is by PGYTECH similar to the one I posted from Amazon, but you be the judge?thesoundsmith wrote: ↑Thu Jan 17, 2019 11:52 amThanks. Will that DJI style shade work? The shade would be in the way of the controller

Re: Sun shade for the Zino controller
You don't get sunshades for the controller you get them for the phone
They make them in different sizes depending on phone screen size

Re: Loss of altitude
This is common in quads that use only a barometric sensor for maintaining altitude, barometric pressure inside the quad will fluctuate with wind speed either by the wind blowing or by throwing the quad around in turns or accelerating hard. This is why more expensive quads now use ultrasonic sensors ...
